Come Open Your Heart To Your Wise Woman Self Come join the sacred circle of women and give yourself the gift of laughing, crying, howling, dancing and dreaming. Gather some wisdom, share your Spirit, make new connections and weave a little magic for the Feminine Soul. Amidst the natural beauty of Eagle Mountain Lake we will be engaged in various exercises and wisdom teachings to help you develop clarity, vision and courage. Explore your inner terrain through storytelling, guided imagery, meditation, journaling, creative arts, and joyful interaction. A woman's life path is molded and made during the significant experiences in her life During this experiential retreat you will explore the unique circumstances that have brought you the the place you are now. The joys, sorrows, right turns, wrong turns, crossroads, bypasses, loves and losses have all contributed to the Wise Woman you are today. The Wise Woman that lives within each woman regardless of her circumstances. Re-connect with your inner longings. Remember who you really are. Find your joy again.

Estes' ~Women Who Run With the Wolves~�Membership in the Scar Clan This year we'll be creating�a Scar Coat to represent our journey as wise women. For women tears and laughter are the beginning initiation into the Scar Clan, the timeless tribe of women of all colors, nations, all languages, who down through the ages have lived through a great something, and yet who have stood proud. A Scar Coat is a coat or scarf that details in painting, writing, and with all manner of things pinned and stitched to it all the name-calling a woman has endured (from others and from herself) in her life, all the insults, all the slurs, all the traumas, all the wounds, all the scars. It is a statement of her survival.� Estes' says of her own scar coat "I found myself admiring the ovarios of the woman who could wear such a coat and still be walking foursquare, singing, creating, and wagging her tail" Sometime they are called battlecoats, for they are proof of the endurance, the failures, and the victories of individual women and their kinswomen.
